Ok so I went out to my car after going into the bank the other day started it up and when I went to brake coming out of the parking lot I noticed that the pedal sank to the floor. I checked the fluid in the resevoir and it was very low. After carefully driving home, with a lot of down shifting, I noticed that my left rear caliper was leaking fluid. Anyways to make a long story short I removed every thing, caliper assembly, and removed the piston then saw that I had to have snap ring pliers to put some of the seals in, these are the seal that I suspect are messed up because the quad seal looks fine. But after trying several different pliers none are long enough to reach. So is there anyplace to your knowledge that has long enough pliers to reach in there? I've already tried Sear's and they do not have them.

Well all of the other cheap pliers are the universal kind with several different sized needles? and because of this they are to thick to fit.

when i rebuilt my brakes i could not find good pliers to get those rings out. i ended up getting remans at the store.those rings are buried deep in their. seems like a not so good way to build them, but whatever. i think i tried 3 or 4 different kinds of ring pliers to no avail. i think somewhere i still have the rebuild kit. but the remens were my best bet. good luck

Damn. Well I appreciate the info. I guess I'll just have to get some remans. I was just really hoping to save money(well I guess not save just not have to borrow more.) Sometimes you just have to love what the engineers do for us
