1. I was wondering if anyone has removed the little black box that is directly beneath the gas pedal and is connected with a metal bracket. You can unsrew the plastic, but would have to cut off the metal. Is there any advantage to throttle response with the elimination of this device or is the throttle only able to go that far?

2. I just replaced my rear rotors and rear pads because they really needed it, but am now experiencing pulsating when I brake. Is this due to warped rotors? Or maybe a cause of a locked up parking brake? I used all new parts from Napa.

I did make sure that the brake fluid was full and I did let them set for like 6 hours then went driving. I checked the brakes and they all seem to be intact.

When you begin to notice a pulsating brake pedal, most likely your rotors are warped and in need of resurfacing. Did you visually inspect the rotor before you did the pad swap?

I did visually inspect the rotors and pads before putting them on, but from talking to people it sounds like the rotors that I put on either came warped from the store or have just warped freakishly. I'm planning on taking them back to the store and having them check them and either get an exchange or just have them turned and resurfaced. Anyone else have any suggestions?
