Back up lights don't turn on when I put it in reverse. Bulbs and wiring look good. Where is the switch located for this? There's not one on the shifter so is there one in the transmission somewhere?

Auto or manual?

Manual, the switch is on the side of the trans, It's the first switch you come across moving back from the bellhousing.

Auto would have an issue with the inhibitor switch.

More than likely it's a fuse. The bottom right fuse in the interior panel is the one you need to look at. I've had that fuse pop before, killing my reverse lights.

There is a plug on the transmission for reverse.

It's a manual. Fuse is fine. I'm thinking it might be sensor or lower harness related. My speedo keeps going on and off so I have to check the speed sensor down there anyways.

Check all the lower harness to main harness connectors for muck.

Definatley the lower harness clip. My wires actually fell off and I tried to sauter them back on to no avail. They are intermittent now because I had to knot them on the terminal loop on the transmission.

I've just gotten new switches at that point. They're usually 20 bucks or so from the dealer.

The piece that goes in the transmission and connects to the harness? You can replace those?
