Ive gone threw 2 sets of 205/45/17 rear tires on my 1995 240SX in the past year so i went to sears to have my car aligned and they said the cars rear can not be aligned, So does any one know how i can align it these tires are not cheap. I know thier are the camber correction bushings but i was wondering how these work and if they change the way i can drive the car. Also i do not want to move out the circle on the upper control arm(or whatever its called) Thanks for any and all help

1995 240 sx didnt come with 17 inch tires. sooo unless you modified your suspension to compensated for the larger tire and most likely rim offset. which by the way would come with adjustable suspension. you pretty much have no alternative but to go through those tires unless you do the mentioned modifications. the proper tire sizes for your car should be posted on one of the door jams,on the under side of the center console door or in the glove box.

The rear subframe bends [and the metal tabs where the arms fit]a little over time and the rubber bushings in the rear control arms wearout.

Of course when you use different springs there is never enough range and it only gets worse the more miles the components have.

My 91 240 is barely within' specs in the rear. The subframe is bent? What do you guys suggest for repair. Names and manufacturers would be nice.
