I'm just wondering if the same that goes in the front, can be done on the back....I'm asking 'cuz I'm thinking the drum may get in the way...so can it?

Yes you can, it would be easier and cheaper to get z32 rear hubs and get 5 lugs without having to redrill every time you change rotors.

absolutly incorrect.Shops charge $20-30 to redrill them, versus the 200-400 for the hubs? How often do you go through rotors?

hehe, i'm selling the 5 lug hubs for 42 shipped, and I don't consider new wheels and tires actually cheaper. Plus I can get the redrilling at a fraction of the cost.. I just worried about the drum assembly being in the way (I haven't taken the rotors apart yet.

i'm actually in NH, Concord to be precise. I'm just from CanadaI've been looking @ going 5 hub, but cheapest i've found the full swap is $300, way too much to have one more lug.

And I'd drive down to boston to pick up those 300 wheels or maybe the Z wheels, lolIf you have the 5 lug swap for cheaper for my s13, you just let me know, lol.

well, I have all the rotors from the 300 so I'll try those first. If I find they are too warped for resurfacing, then maybe i'll buy new rotors.

Dont be a wimp. Redrill them by hand yourself.

hehe...well that was the idea...but i'm wondering if steel/iron bits will go through them...or if I have to buy carbide/diamond tipped instead....(like s3 suggested)..

we destroyed regular drill bits but we got a few holes in at my friend's place. back at my place with the diamond tiped bits it was cake, so if you can, go with the better bits.

remember to start with a small accurate pilot hole and work your way up or you'll be off. What I found helped was to drill slightly small then ream it out with a grinding bit while test fitting once in a while. Even then, if you're off by a little, big whoop. The rotors are hubcentric so they'll always be centered right.
