Just piced up a set of OEM 19s but the rear tires need to be replaced. Curious if anyone found any good deals around.

I'm just looking for a good performance All-season tire, since this is my DD. And trying to stay with 245/40/19. Don't want to go wider to keep costs lower and since the fronts will stay with 225 for now.

So far tirerack has interested me in a couple cheap tires:

Goodyear RS-A - $99 eachBridgestone Potenza RE92A - $119 each

Any thoughts or insight?

I'm not a huge fan of going cheap on the tires, but I do know that in certian instances some of the cheaper tires (last year's model, etc...) can be pretty good.

I'm not a huge fan of the RS-A's - our CTS had them OEM and they were pretty spotty in terms of everything...

Never had any dealing with the Bridgestones.

I personally vote for a Michelin. But then again, I would always recommend that. A good tire keeps you on the road and safe - sometimes may cost a bit, but I feel it's worth it.

Costco usually has some really good deals on tires too.

I've had Bridgestones and most have been good. I actualy didn't like the Michelins I've had before, but that's been a long time ago.

This a DD and AT, its not that import for me to have great tires on it, just ones that do well in most conditions.

Yeah, I'd like the Yoko's, I'm just hoping to find something good on sale. I've got 2-3 months before the rear tires on the 17s are toast, so just looking and waiting on striking gold.

If you are looking for less $$$ how about Kumho'sOr if you are looking to just get by, craigslist or ebay for used.

And, at $99 for the RS-A's, not bad price and you might get better mileage than I did.

Yeah, I haven't even started calling around to local places yet, so really haven't jumped in. I've had Kumho's before and liked them depending on the model. No luck on finding good condition used tires so far, the size is a little unusual I guess.
