So I had initially planned on ordering a new rear window switch anyways for my vert seeing as mine is missing the top covers to it and looks like garbage.

However, driving home from work last night it was good weather to drop the top, so I pushed the button, and only my passenger rear 1/4 window went down.

I had already planned on ordering the switch but wanted a 2nd (and more) opinion on whether or not the switch could be the reason the drivers side rear window won't go down, or if you guys think it's the motor itself?

I am going to order a new switch if I can find one. Does anyone happen to know the part number and if I can still order it from courtesy nissan? I know about a year ago they were ~30$, and 50$ from my local dealership.

Thanks.

Can you hear motor running? Well, at this point, you should get the switch anyway to fix and trouble shoot it. You know what I mean?

The motor only clicks once when I press the button in the "up" position.

I have removed the switch in the past and dropped my top and the windows stayed up so I am thinking it's just that half of the switch broke/went out and a whole new switch should fix it.

I just don't know the part # or if Courtesy Nissan still has it (or the # to search for it on their site). I also found an older thread about a dealership that had it for $50 but I'd like to save a bit of $$ if I can, I need new subframe bushings.

Call them and say you are looking at the part diagram. Give them a diagram number 251 and A 01 and referance number for the switch is 25760.

I had found this: http://www.courtesyparts.com/2....html

but wasn't sure if it was the same part since I couldn't see a picture or a diagram.

Click on 25760 in below link. It'll take you to the page that you posted above. That's a correct part.

Check plastic window guide. It might have been busted and got stuck on the rail.

Doubt it's the switch. Mine was doing something similar. It was an issue w/ the guides as 94_240sx said ^^^^^.

That being said, they are still selling new window switches? crazy!

Hm, forgot about this thread...

A little update. I haven't ordered the switch, too worried about my timing on my RB25 so I've been trying to get that fixed with my available funds.

But while it was down I did drop the top and check out the one window that wouldn't go down. I couldn't SEE anything broken but I wiggled it and it went down just fine afterwards. I am assuming it just got off track a little bit.

I will be looking through 94_240sx's thread for replacement of the guides however...looks to be a pretty daunting task.

Thanks again.
