really quick rb20 question.... just to clarify

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Ok guys i just want to clarify that in order to remove an rb20 or install it into an s13 chassis u have to install/remove from the bottom of the vehicle.... is this true??? Ive been searching around and I did my swap from the bottom but im pulling the swap out today and wasnt sure if I could remove motor and trannny still attached from the top....

no its not true. you can install from the top.

joe is correct. it may take some shimmying but its not hard at all to pull the motor and transmission through the top.

well shes out and i already got the transmission and all apart.... now i need to find the throw-out bearing collar as mine is cracked... as was my clutch pivot ball..... yay!!!

thnx man lol... its impossible to find a throw out bearing collar.... i may have to buy a new trans.... yay
