Will an SR turbo oil feed line fit onto a ca18det?

I'm having huge trouble finding a ca specific line. if I remember correctly the sr will screw into the block fine but it just allows more oil to flow through it. Since I'm using an SR T25 turbo, should I just buy an SR line or will that flow too much oil out of the block? Thanks !

Jared.

Check out FR sport or the DIY thread on here to make your own. That might just be the best option for you if you only need the one line.

I will check at home to see if i have the stock peice still, you might be in luck.

A quick question....

Why do you "need" a braided line?

The stock CA line fits and works perfectly. I can see the obvious ease of turbo removal/install, but if all you need is the line and don't plan on removing the turbo constantly then get a stock CA line.

My $.02

Im using an aftermarket manifold which slightly relocates the turbo. Because of this, the line isnt shaped correctly and goes in on an angle into the block, causing it to start cross threading.

Heat the line and bend it.

Here's the solution I found at a reasonable price, atpturbo.com has the option to create your own SS line. You only need a 9" SS -4AN line for a lower mount setup, straight thru on one end 90 on the other cost just less then $30

You'll also need M12x1.0 to -4AN fitting for the connection to the block, and 1/4" to -4AN depending on your turbo
