really need help on this idle issue on my ka24e

ok. heres the deal. i have a ka24e mottor on my 240sx. its the original motor with 146,xxx. for the past two weeks it would just be at a high idle. like at 1300 to 1500. when i tap the gas real fast it would just die alittle and go back up. i am really stumped. i need help

sounds like its outta tune, or maybe the idle air control valve went out. you can refer to the FSM to set the base idle and timing. also you can check for service codes in the ecu.

alright. well now its been idling high at cold and takes like awhile for it to go down to 1100 and then 1000rpms
