Hmm.. Well to start you wouldn't need a fpr, not with upgraded injectors and a corresponding tune for the setup. I don't know about those other manifolds, but I bought a used XSPower top-mount manifold from a buddy a little while back, it looks decent enough. 3/8" flange, a brace from the flange to the turbo flange that's about 1/8" thick, however the spot where the runners come together where the turbo flange looks..bleh, so I'm smoothing it out with a dremel. Anyways, my buddy had his ka-t and never gave him problems and I've heard of plenty of SSAC manifolds cracking and stuff..

I'm tempted to recommend an F1 clutch.. I know I know, it's an Ebay clutch kit but me and my buddy both ordered stage 2 clutch kits and thus far we're both pleased with it, but in the long run we'll see I reckon.

The SR injectors and fuel pump should be pretty safe setup with a good tune for low boost.

Now, if you were extremely strapped for money then you go the cheapo way and do without the injectors and ecu tune and just get an FMU and retard timing a little bit.. Your plan's safer though, I'd stick to that.. don't do what I'm doing lol

I don't like 370cc injectors and a rom tune. I'd always prefer to use bigger injectors, like 550cc. That way you only buy them once and they give room to grow.

The FPR is needed if you upgrade the fuel pump, which you need to do.

Any of the bottom mount cheapo manifolds will work just fine with the T25.

I'd sell the 370's and buy a FMU in the beginning. Then save for bigger injectors, 300zx (N62) MAF and a rom tune that matches that combo.

good list. honestly i dont like the idea of fmu, it's better to save up and buy an ecu tune by efi specialist, enthalpy, JWT...etc...NOTE: there are many reviews about different ecu tuners..so search... for your manifold you can get a ssac or even egay ones they are pretty much the same. also, megan dont make bottommount manifold for ka24de but some shop like p2m claims that they are made by Megan. if you're afraid then get someone to weld over for extra strength.

i rather you get 550cc nismo injectors, or some really good name brand injectors. i have nismo 740cc w/ enthalpy ecu and have good mpg. you dont want bad flow rate injectors that can destroy your project. z32maf would be okay but not necessary for t25 set-up. and yes get an aftermarket fpr something like aeromotive, dont cheap out on these stuff, they can seriously destroy your motor.

if you cannot afford or are not welling to pay good amount of $$ then i rather you stay away from the ka-t and go sr. i just dont want to hear from anymore blown motor thread.

sounds like fun man, i'm about to start building ka-t too, hopefully have it done by this time next year, or the one after that lol the main thing that i'm focusing on is the bottom end, which will be about $1000 (give or take) with the pistons, rods, bearings, and machine work. i don't want to spend all that money and throw a rod or melt a piston lol

I use Autometer Gauges. The site I use for ALL of my universal parts is Summit Racing.

Outside of some special circumstances, you get what you pay for with cars.

Just keep that in mind.

It's not just a gauge...if you rely on it to know what your car is doing, it better be right! lol

You *must* have a wideband with digits if you want to know your AFRs.

This is because when a NA motor is rich (12.5 AFR), that is actually where you want a turbo motor to be in boost/load. Those ones with just a light that don't say wideband are just lights, they won't help you do anything.
