Really Good Deal On 91 Coupe!!!

PLEASE REPLY TO THIS! Ok, heres the deal..hey everyone, well i am lookin at this one White '91 240sx coupe with 133k mi. on it and its in really good condition. I just recently went with a friend to go and take a look at it (WENT ON THURSDAY). Well damn, the car is in great condition. its only one owner and it was driven by some lady and the lady broke up with the her boyfrined and moved to Australia so she wants him to get rid of it for her..sicne she didn't wanna take it to Australia with her. well anyways the car has been garaged kept its whole life. and its in mint condition..i drove it and everything and its perfect. everything that i have checked for is great, but see thats the prob. (THE ONLY THINGS I'VE LOOKED FOR)...ok well the probelm is not in the car or anything..its that tha guy doesnt drive it so like a month ago he just got new inspection on it and after that he took the registratoin off of it so it doesnt got any plates on it or anything. I wanna go and take tha car to the mechanics or the Nissan dealer to get a "buyers check" on it and he doenst wanna risk taking the car on the road without any plates or registration on it cuz he just got into a huge accident in his girlfrineds car like 2 weeks ago by some dude who broad-sided em and they flipped over 3 times...well besides that tha car is amazing, he's selling it for 2900 bucks and im prolly guno try to lower it down to 2200 just to see how low he'll go but tha max ill pay is 2500...so ive checked up about everything that i can think of including: the engine bay for any rust, well oh yah there is no rust what so ever anywhere on the car, just on tha brake rotors but it burns off...clutch is tha same as from when they bought it..umm the paint is amazing its white color and look soo new, and no dents, dings or anything..its in mint conditon...tha interior is also awesome, no rip not even that one rip which is usually common in 240's on tha drivers side seat...welll tha cars is great..and lemme think hmmmm the car doesnt make any noises, no exaust leak, nothing not even one single spot of rust not even in trunk or under back two seat, sometimes happens in coupes...well i just want as many opinions i can get and if i can; some other things i can check myslef to not have to bring a mechanic over to look at it...Basically, What would you do if you were in this situation??Just anything u wanna tell me..o yah and bout that mechanic thing well hes like yah "You can bring any mechanic u want to check it up.., but i just dont wanna take a chance to take it on tha road w/o registration and insurance..." the guy whos selling it is also very well off and is some software programmer for a huge company, so he's welll off...hes gotta nice bmw 325...its nice....like the 240 is as nice as it is...haha well just telll me what u guys think...and any suggestions you have...Thanks

take the front plate off your car, put it on the 240, drive it to the mechanics, get it checked out, and tell the guy if anything happens to it, youll pay, how hard can it be to drive from point a to point b to point a?

also, why are you gonna try to talk him down to 2.2k? for the condition and year, its in excellent condition (as described) and would go for, easily 3k+...imo
