anyone here have ps2, I want one of two games but im not sure which one to cough up the money for. Need for speed hot pursuit or burnout 2?

oh my god no!its street racing! on the highways! you can buy over 170 cars, put kits on them, change the paint, swap engines... do ANYTHING! then you can take whatever JDM beast you have (all the cars in it are strictly JDM) and race it. you cruise the tokyo highways free as a bird, and flash your headlights at whoever you want to race. theres over 400 people to race, and some of them are in gangs, once you beat all the people in a gang, the leader come lookin for ya to race!you can put different rims, tires, and exhausts on, and you notice the changes visually. you can run your car on the 1/4mile, tune the ride height with lowering springs, ANYTHING!

I agree that game is teh l337!! I got a ps2 and that game, and it was very very entertaining. totally jdm, you can go all show/go/mix of both, etc. the freeway is modeled 100% after real japanese freeways (hey whenever i got to japan i wont get lost!). i have some cars tuned to do 250 mph, its pretty cool, definitely worth the money if you're looking for a racing game (obviously besides gt3)

Like 10 or so, I haven't played that game in a hella long time. Here's my cars if i can remember them. R32 skyline, impreza 22b (the wrx with the largest stock discplacement), speed king's car, the porche, and other various cars i bought just to use once to race a wanderer. All of my cars are running full boost, full tune, etc. I usually have to garage after 3-4 races on most of the cars lol. The only game I have played recently is gt3.

cool, back to the subject though, does anyone know if burnout 2 is checkpoint racing cuz I hate that, thats why test drive sucks *******.

yep, burnout 2 is checkpoint style racing.get to this place, is this amount of time, or the race is over.

tino the tokyo extreme game is like 20 bucks better off getting that and you save money but sept. 25th tekken 4 comes out I can't wait and in oct. Grand theft Auto 3 Vice City comes out if it is anything like GTA3 then it is going to kick major ***

midnight club sucked, tokyo racing looks good, but these game will without a doubt be in my arsenal, twisted metal black online, need for speed hp, gta3 vice, mortal kombat da, and maybe that tribes game people said it was good, problem is I have to pawn off 4 of my games I own already.

man that game is hard , i keep thinking i got everyone beat , but theres like 3 blue ones left that wont race me no matter what i have , ive treid everything from my rx3 to my 1100 hp porsche.....

burnout irritated me , never got intot he need for speed series , stuntman sucks without codes ..spend most of my time hot lapping on GT3 or shooting people on GTA3

Stoneys back, Ive checked out Burnout 2 and it is amazing. But the homosexual checkpoint racing makes that amazing into a tranvestite retard who smeres (sp) all over his grandmas front porch.
