really confused clutch ? transmission? sr ? ka ?nissan?

ok sounds a little stupid but here it goes any way

ka transmission and sr trannys are pretty much the same [swap bell housing ]will a ka 240sx clutch work on the sr transmission?

clutch disk are differnt size

N/A SR clutch Disks are also smaller than Turbo SR clutch disks/pressure plates

but i threw the turbo SR clutch off in there and it worked.

fast_s13how much of a difference is their in size

theres a decent amount of size difference. you can use a KA disc on an SR flywheel and pressure plate, but it will slip. theres about 1/4 to 1/2" shorter around the edge

you cant use an SR disc on a KA bc it sticks out too far. the splines are, of course, all the same.

anytime anyone just wants a new OEM disc, i take it to a clutch/brake relining shop nearby and have them reshoe the disc. you should look into this locally for yourself if the need ever arrises. i pay $30 for brand new clutch material on the original center section, and if the springs are work out, they can replace those, as well.
