Was just poking around Cars.com and came across this 92. Very clean and low miles,,,so rare around here for a G50. Of course, there is probably the ever present chain guide issue to deal with......

You know trying to get 6k for that car it might have been reasonable if the description said "chain guides redone" and transmission replaced, but it didn't. The car looks clean but with those low miles chances are neither have been done....without it the car is worth 2-3k max, with those it is worth 6k.

I think the lower milage Qs should be priced upon interior and paint condition too. It took me some time to acknowledge it but these are $10K cars in 2007.

I think a low mi Q that was garaged and has mint leather and a great clear coat should be valued at 8 to 10K. If you come across a 92 or earlier just do the guides and add $1K to the above. Cross your fingers on the transmission.

Worst case: 12 to 13K with new tanny and guides and mint body/interior. In my mind its still a bargin. You cannot buy anything today under $50K that comes close to it. I'll take either of my G50s over a new M45s any day.

You can look at these as cheap transportation if you do your own wrenching or you can duke them up performance wise or "gulp" VIP them!

They offer something for everyone at all price levels...

$10K plus--fine lux rides with a soul suitable for the country club.$5K total-- great daily drivers or performance candidates.1 to $3--great transportation rides.
