I have a 2010 Sedan and the little overhead compartment vibrates like a mother effer when I put my music up just a tad bit loud. Anyone have any recommendations on what I can do to stop this.. Also the seem where the roof meets the windshield (inside the car) has a really bad vibration also..

I did search the site but only found answers for trunk and license plate vibration. I really dont wanna spend ubber $$$ and dont wanna rip the roof out to pad it.

Thought maybe someone had a easy little fix.. Thanks-

Do you have sunglasses or something in the overhead compartment? Mine used to vibrate like all hell with the music up. All of the vibration went away when I took the glasses out.

I keep it empty.. Actually I put my wallet in there and it seems to lower the vibration a little but its still there.. I wouldnt care if it was in the rear but its right in my ear... Drives me insane. Makes me wanna disconnect the speakers and use headphones. thats how bad it is

Something sounds odd there. I'd pull that whole thing down and look at it more closely. The FSM has the directions for removing that assembly (I don't remember how I did it, I just remember doing it). It should definitely not be that bad. My stereo shook the snot out of the car and I never had any noise issues from there. I say pull it and see if there is something loose up there.

i've got the same issue, but i have to put the music pretty loud for it to rattle, i usually dont hear it. I thought it was the sunglasses too but i think it may just be the actual compartment the sunglasses are stored.

My car doesn't have a sunglasses compartment but it used to rattle like a b**** when I had my subs on like volume 10. So I just put two penny's between the crease in the front and a nickel in the back and no more vibrations
