really bad day today. motor lock?!

well i own two cars. one a 87 mustang and the other the 1990 240sx. well since i bought the car from my friend it never was any knocking noise. i let it sit up for about five months....crank it up and then i had a knocking sound coming from the valve cover. let it sit for three more months because i didnt have time to fool with it. so today i finally have time to do minor stuff to it like change the fuel filter and stuff. i decided to seafoam the engine. did everything right. cranked it up. revved it to 3000 rpm then it just sounded like the engine was just falling apart. it was a terrible sound. all that grinding! then it came to a halt. i was like wtf!!!! tried to crank but nothing. just starter grinding against flywheel and clicking. had a friend to try to turn it over and while i was looking at it the fan only moves just a pinch. but other than that it wont even turn by hand! if anyone has a good replacement engine for under $500 ill be willing to purchase. i cant believe this happened. and oil is in it and everything.

srry to hear that....look at ur dip stick to see if metal shaving are on it or use a breaker bar and try to turn it manually
