I Have a 91 240sx se hatchback, and when the car is comming to a stop and the clutch is in the battery light comes on and makes an anoying buzzing sound. I have no idea what it could be, i've already replaced the alternator and the battery and now this is happenning, also it's mostly when the lights are on and u press te brake. Does anyone know what it could be?

I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!

check your main ground wires, There is one from the battery to the chassis, & then one from the chassis to the engine. Make sure you have a ground from the engine to the chassis, & check for corrision that could prevent the ground from flowing properly, generaly when you turn your lights on and have a problem, it means the grounding system is not flowing properly. There are many other ground wires that come from the wiring harness to different spots on the engine and chassis, It would'nt hurt to clean them. good luck. If that does'nt work than post up again with more info about your problem.

if you're going to run an extra ground wire, then make sure it's connected to a surface of the chassis that is unpainted. no..it won't harm anything, just improve.

Alot of electrical issues happen with the brake lights. Start by removing the bulbs from the sockets for the brake light bulbs. Try and make the problem happen again. If you cant keep adding the bulbs back in one at a time till you find the circuit that is giving you trouble. Hand over Hand the wire till you find something that doesnt look right

5 out of the 6 240sx car ground problems that I worked on have had problems with the wiring for the brake lights. I been working on convertibles but it happens around the thrird break area because the wires become worn from moving around with the hatch(on hatch backs) and trunk lid for convertibles.
