Real World Mileage - 2007/2008 XTerra

I am considering purchase of a 2008 Xterra Off Road.

My main concern is gas mileage. Can anyone post their real-world mileage? Typically I drive 50/50 highway/city and run the A/C (low) all the time.

15-18 is probably realistic, depending on driving habits. Aftermarket armor, bigger tires, etc. will drop mpg.

1) Don't buy an SUV and expect Civic Hybrid mileage.

2) I wouldn't think you would ever get more than 20mpg b/c that is what I get with less weight and the same drivetrain.
