excuse my lack of knowledge on tire sizes. i need a set of tires for my s14 se wheels. one tire has a slow leak and the tread on all of them is getting low. i found a barely used set of cooper lifeliners locally, but they are 215's, not 205's like the stock ones are. i'm pretty sure i'll be fine with a little wider of a tire, but i just wanted to be absolutely sure. i'm trying to get them after work, which will be in about 20 minutes, so if someone could reassure me real quick before then, it would be greatly appreciated .

A 215, you won't have any problems.

sidewall is the same, the width was the only difference.

It will slightly offset your speedo. There are a number of wheel/tire size calculators out there which will show you the difference.
