Damien is my Silvia. The Freon sprayer works, I test fired it yesterday. While I have proved the idea will work but I have to redo it with much smaller pipe and hose. Using small coke sized cans of Freon I lose half the pressure filling up the system so by the time it reaches the spraybar instead of the blast I want I get a fog like when you open a topmount freezer. It will be refined by the time I install a system on Damien but it's useless for Sunday.I did discover that the plugs I was given at the auto parts store were two heat ranges colder than I though, Misfire diagnosed, I think so. I mummified the coils in electrical tape and I will drop in the right plugs tonight.

you're going to try the freon anyway, just to show off, right? i wouldn't think anyone else will be spraying freon on their intercoolers.

Yeah I figure it can't hurt. Stage, drop the hammer, crank on the freon and hope I can hold off whatever monster they put up against me.

so...is freon always cold, or only when it's evaporating? 'cause I figure you can take a water to air type intercooler and modify it to have pressurized freon in it instead of ice water, hmmmm... =)

I thought about that. if you took your standaed AC system and plumbed up a remote heat exchanger it would work. The reason the system on my car works is the endothermic reation upon being released from a pressurized container.

you would have parasitic drag from the pump but you could get with an electric one.

Can anyone confirm that this stuff has no sulfur?

yeah they are good, u can get a metal cracker for them, then hook a baloon on to the end of the cracker, then pop it and all the gas will go into the baloon (has to be a big baloon) then u take it off and suck all the air into your lungs.. i get a really good hit... its fun but it kills your brain.. ive done it with that brand b4.. its good :)
