Been kicking this around for a time and went out and compared the M37X and the Lexus G350AWD. Both are great cars BUT I think I am going for the M37X even if Nissan is changing the style and going to the Q whatever.

I will be trading in my "06 M35X and will miss. Like the natural wood look as opposed to the multi layered lacquered wood in the 2013. But they are roomier.

Someone want to talk me out of this ;) or encourage me. Am going for just the Premium Package and have been offered 13.900 for my "06M35x with 83450miles and there isn't nor was ever any issue. If you are from around Mass and are interested in my M get back to me asap as I may do this today...Thanks

You stated your present M works just fine. It's a wonderful machine. Unless you just have $$$ to burn, is there a reason you want a new one? :gotme

I recently traded in a 2006 M35 for a 2012 M37S. I love the M37. I really like my 35, but I feel like this 2012 is a significant improvement. Don't know anything about the Lexus but you since you drive both, you should go with your gut.

Do not really have money to burn but IMO when you have a car with 80K plus miles "things" start to happen. One grand here another grand there, good tires are $800-$900. I had the '06 right from the start and it really was very reliable. Someone will get a great car if they don't pay too much for it. Now before you say everything can be fixed and you'll spend a lot less there are somethings in the 2013 that are not in the '06 and one is the 2013 is a lot roomier. That was a big factor for me. I hope/expect the new one will be as reliable. Also at my age I really do hope that this is the last time I need to go by a car...not an enjoyable experience.
Happy New Year

Buddy, at your age (43 you say) buying a new car is tough; what with keeping up a family et al. But, when the kids are all gone and my age (65) buying a new car can be a lot of fun! However, for me I've got 71k on my '06, she runs great and her roominess is fine for my wife and me. I'm hoping for great 6 figure mileage in the future. Indeed, my last new car will be a new forthcoming M-but I've got "miles to go before I sleep."

I've got 83k and not a single "think" has happened. As long as you take care of it, "things" will be very minimal, if any. These aren't some $13,000 for a brand new GM cars.

I loved the M37 until I drove the GS350. Better looking, amenities and gas mileage. I think I am going towards the GS350 Sport for my next car. It just looks, drives and equipped better. And if you get a 2012 (used) better price.

Done! M37 2013 Just the premium option. A roomier car. Can anyone tell me if the AWD is the same AWD that was in my '06 M35.

Thanks all

Like to expand on my question about the AWD. Is the 2013 M37X primarily a rear wheel drive that delivers AWD when conditions kick them in?
Was the '06 M35 a front wheel drive primarily then AWD when needed. AND is there an article Infiniti specific explaining the AWD.

Thanks

Here's a video from the manufacturer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2kR8ASIiPs

I'm fairly certain they are both RWD primarily.
