The guys on the Versa code apparently have a way to manually pull fault codes from the ECU without the need for a scan tool like CONSULT or ODBII.

I wonder if there is a similar procedure that will work for the Rogue? It sounds kind of tricky and I doubt you'd get it on the first try, but it could save a lot of cash taking it in for Nissan to read it only to find out it was just a minor issue that you could fix yourself:

That will work for the rogue - it's the same thing that is on my Altima as well - I believe that it is Nissan implemented across the board...

You could also always go to an autozone and have them read the code for you as well...

I just had to check the FSM for the Rogue (pg EC-571). Sure enough, the diagnostic procedure is exactly the same.

Good to know! On my Dodge Ram I had before this, there was a similar procedure which was basically turning the ignition on and off 3x, and it'll show the code on the odometer. Then just go online and look up what the code meant. :P Saved me time and money when my O2 sensor went out. Very nice feature on a vehicle which was always breaking, lol.
