re-wiring fog lights

ok i got a question, and i did do a search. but i couldnt find an answer. I was wondering was there a way to rewire the fog lights on my 95 240, so that they can be on witout my headlights being on? like just with the parking lights? or even without. any advice would be great. thanks.

yea, wire them into the parking light on either side

oh yeah! DUH! ok thanks. but would i still be able to turn them off? or will they always be on with my parking lights:thinker

if u want them on their own switch then ur gonna have to wire in a switch, go to radio shack, get an inline fuse, lots of wire, and a switch

Hey Dan, congrats on getting the suspension done. You still need to take me for a ride in that thing so I can see if I want to get the same setup for the S13. By the way, I think I found your favorite curb yesterday :ylsuper

if you havent gotten it figured out yet..its easy. just take out your parking lights, find the hot wire for the parking lights, NOT SIGNALS (if you get it all wired up and find your fogs blinking along with your signals then ur an idiot)...and then that will be your switched 12v source...simply run that source through an inline fuse and to your switch...then run the wire comming from your switch strait to the fogs. have a good ground and you should be set. i have driving/fog lights...once you get relays involved, thats when it gets confusing!
