There are tolerances for play in all the bearings/bushing and the like, have them measured. Depending on how long they were used, I'm willing to bet they'll be fine.

I second, if you are in specs, great. But we cannot answer that from across the internet. Only your engine builder will know for sure...

they have about 1500 miles on them. i was an idiot and kept the stock rods so now i have to disassemble the entire engine and add a set of good rods before i destroy the entire engine.

1500 is nothing...you'll be fine. Just inspect them for visual wear, if non is noted then you're all good.

i had 7k on my motor and spun a bearing, i went in with the same wrist pins and locks and just replaced the rings. So far i only have 40 miles on the motor but they should hold up fine.~Sam

What is wrong with stock rods? Or are you pushing too much power for them. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with re-using them either. Unless of course they are bent.

The stock rods have been snapping under somewhat light loads. Around 350ft lbs in some cars.

Light loads?!?!? WD you have had way too much boost for that to be considered light. I would kill for that. But good for you (it's not like I'm jealous or anything, whatever!). No, I mean it.

I would rather spend the extra cash on a good set or rods, rather than building a completely new motor. Plus i can up the BOOST when i feel the need to.
