Re-use of old M/T

OK so just a quick question -

I bought a motor set about 6years ago and the 5spd has been sitting since then inside a dry garage. Assuming the fluid was drained (as I can't recall doing it, but worst case), would you folks have any reservations using this transmission?

I think at minimum a good fill/run/drain/fill would be in order, but are there any components in there that may have rusted up since?

just put some new fluid in there and it should be fine
