Solution of steering rack klunking

Dear Sir,

Sorry for bothering you, but just read a post of you "Steering rack klunking" and almost had same issue and background as you. It really drives me crazy after replaced the rack from 2011, and still not completely resolved. I learned that your issue was gone and would like to ask could you let me know the solution you had?

Any comment will be appreciated.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Your pvt message doesn't accept messages-so I posted herein instead: I had problems w/tramlining. In the day the factory apparently thought it was the steering rack and many replaced same w/same problem still. I changed the OEM Goodyear RSA tires w/Conti Extreme Contacts ( now Conti DWS) and the problem disappeared. Steering rack "klunking" was never my issue.

Clunking could be the rack, sway bar links, sway bar bushings, struts, ball joints, etc.

The post is unclear to me.

"Steering rack klunking" and almost had same issue and background as you. It really drives me crazy after replaced the rack from 2011, and still not completely resolved."

Then in the second post which I assume is a reply to his own post

"I changed the OEM Goodyear RSA tires w/Conti Extreme Contacts ( now Conti DWS) and the problem disappeared. Steering rack "klunking" was never my issue."

What I think he's trying to say here is offer advice in that the klunking that Antzrus originally posted may be related to the tires and tramlining not the rack itself? Any other interpretations to this hodgepodge of translated words?

The below response was from me (antzrus) to him (s75052). His question was in black and my response was in brown. Notice the normal letter response; his name, the colon and then my response underneath. I am sorry for any confusion. For many herein I completely understand that English is a second language...
