Is there a way to re-program the entrance remote on an 01 Max?

My Smart Entrane Control Unit burned out a little while back, and I replace it with a board out of an I30. The problem is that I didn't get new remotes with the board when it was shipped, so now the remote locks / trunk pop / alarm etc. don't work with the remote.

There was previously an aftermarket remote starter installed (Which is probably what fried the board in the first place), so for now I am using that remote for entrance. It's one of those things that keep bugging you though, so i would like to re-program the remotes if possible???

Alright I tried this over the weekend, and it works perfectly.

I have 2 remotes, so (FYI) repeat steps 2-8 for each remote and it works. The thread said to repeat step 6 for each remote, but that didn't work out for me. Might have been the difference in the I30 and the Max, but the procedure works which is the main thing.

1.Get in & lock the doors2.Insert the key into the ignition 6 times within 15 seconds3.Hazard lights should flash4.Put key back into the ignition & turn to Accessory5.Press the master door lock (on drivers door arm rest) unlock/lock6.Hit the lock button on the remote7.Hazards should flash8.Pull key out and open the drivers door and then close it9.It should be set

Thanks for the message with programming the remotes. Dealer wanted to charge me $116 for a new remote. Purchased one from Ebay for $25. and it works great on my 04 Maxima. I do have one question regarding auto door locks. I am pretty sure this option worked when I purchased the car 8 months ago. As soon as my keyless remote stopped working it seems this option (when you put the car in drive) it automatically locked the doors. The dealer keeps telling me this is not an option on this car. Anyone know if this is an option on the 04 Maxima's?
