I own a 2003 M45, black, that has been keyed up and down the sides. I live in Connecticut and I am looking for a bodyshop that where I can have the entire car repainted. Does anybody recommend a shop that specializes in custom paint jobs. I am looking to go with black, with blue metallic. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Oh, man! That is very, very sad. Sorry to hear it ...

Unfortunately, I cannot help with this, so I hope that some people in CT chime in.

Please also contact your local Infiniti dealer, sometimes they can provide recommendations (or have an arrangement with a local body shop). Usually, though, the closely associated ones offer factory colors only.

For example, Frontier Infiniti owns Frontier Auto-Body as well - they do excellent work, by the way! I have not had them do a full re-paint, but they did replace the rear bumper and some fixing of the trunk when my M45 got hit in the rear some years ago (pictures are here somewhere).

Easiest way to find a good painter and inspect their craftsmanship on other cars they have painted is to attend local custom car shows in your town and talk to the owners of these showcars.....you will quickly hear a few painters names over and over as being true artists.
