re install heat

hey guys im new to the forum been lurking a bit.

i have the heater core, and the ducting and all i wanna do is have defrost.

has anyone done an install of the heater core? give me some tips anyone?>

oh and btw i have a 89 240sx ls1

If you installed everything correctly, then you should be able to just choose the "defrost" button on the climate control. The defrost function has nothing to really do w/ the engine as far as I'm concerned.
