^This thread is pointless. You know what most of our opinions are and we know there are always going to be those who talk sh*t. Just ignore it, I worked on and boosted Honda's for as long as I can remember. I never owned one.....just did them as a side job for friends. I love all kinds of cars whether its Domestic, European, or Japanese made. Your NOT a TRUE car enthusiast if you are biased against all makes except for the ones you favor. Jay Leno is a great example of a true enthusiast. He has interest and passion for just about anything that was built on 4 wheels. I liked the review he did on the new GTR. The only thing that differs us is how the car/brand makes us feel. Not just pointing out this or that car is faster or has more power than the other. I like Nissan's because of how much support the community has grew in a short amount of time compared to the Honda community which was around for years starting in the early/mid 90's. Go to a car event now and see how different it was back in its hay days where Honda's dominated. I love the new atmosphere and it made me love Nissan's more as it is now the new "Honda" for many. I believe the drift sean has helped opened peoples eyes to all kinds of cars. Those who got hooked or was curious enough to research its history and origin of the new sport soon discovered a vast verity of cars with full potential that went with it. New love and interest started to grow for those cars that was never brought over to the states. Of course Grand Turismo and Initial D has helped, but truly the sean exploded when it hit U.S. soil. I bet you if we had the cars Japan has....there will be less sh*t talking and favoritism among the people. Everybody would be able to drive or own these cars just once and have respect for them knowing there is potential to be found. Honda guys and DSM guys love their cars and I hear so much about "my car is cheaper and faster than yours". Yeah because there is plenty of "go fast" parts to be found in junk yards for cheep. For the rest of us its either turbo add on or complete engine swap from Japan.....Not locally cheap.......for me.....I don't give a rats @$$....as long as it looks good, rides nice, gets girls..... I'm set.
