Ok! so i got the car home. had to boost it 4 times to get it home haha and 1 1/2 trip turned into a 2 1/2 hr trip. anyways! i got the car home, pull it into the garage and was lookign at the engine area, i oull the battery out put it on a charger, and the battery is fine! thanks god. and i looked over the wires to the fuse box behind the battery and to the alt. and they look ok but i'm going to take a deeper look. i out the battery back in hooked it all back up the battery read 11.88V and so i started the car and it dropped to 11.56V it DIDNT jump to 14.30V like it should have. i tested the altenator and i tested what i think is the main output for the altenator and it read 0.35V?? which i've never incountered before. i havent tested the connector on the side of the alt. yet or the other connection on the back.

Also i'm still haveing the same Aux. power issues as last time. when i start the car nothing turns on xcept the blower motor and occasionally the headlights. as soon as the car hit 2500RPM everything turns on, the wipers the signallights(emerg. also) and the whole gauge cluster (all gauges) and tehn they stay on untill i go shut the car off and wait about 20 mins then the car wont start i boost then start the car nothing turns on until 2500RPM.

Sorry if it seems like i'm rambling on. try to give as much detail as possible

also about 4-5mins before the car dies i smell an ammonia smell coming from the vents coming from the motor?? please help! i'm stuck on this Thanks!

Well apparently the alt. is almost "brand new" i know the battery brand new cuz it still has 3 year warenty so its only like 3 weeks old. so anyways i'm still gonna get the alt. tested at the shop. but why would what think is the main output from the alt. read 0.35V?? is that a normal reading? or is it possibly toast? just to give me an idea of what i'm dealing with.

With the car off it should have battery voltage. Check your fuse links.

Hey! yeah you were right! thank you for telling me to check my fuse links. turns out it was a blown alt. fuse that was screwing everything up. I'm so happy now i can drive my car again :D Thanks again!

It is located in the underhood fuse and relay box.

Found it, thanks. Unfortunately it wasn't something simple like a blown fuse for me. For some reason all of my running/parking lights will not come on. I have checked all the fuses and they all look good, so I will keep investigating.
