That's not pretty. Wonder why it's not being trumpeted all over the media? Could they be complicit?

Although, if the election were held today, it's likely enough to beat anyone the GOP could field.

I know, I know... "I don't look at the polls". Whatever. Funny how no one stood up and said that about Bush's poll numbers.

Anyway, I found it interesting that it's not looking good for B-Dawg.

I don't think you can extrapolate election results from that poll. Presidential elections now have everything to do with the party machine behind the candidate and the corporations who buy them.

That, and what I've stated elsewhere. This next election is Barack Obama's to lose, not anyone else's to win. If people see the job market improving and their own jobs gain any stability prior to the election he will be reelected. He might get reelected anyway because many people perceive, and rightfully so, that neither party can be trusted and there is no reasonable alternative that will change things.

The polls can be very misleading when it comes to determining the degree of satisfaction a particular president has. One little event can bump the results several points. People look for a leader with magical superpowers and get disappointed when thy see that leader can't walk on water. But when it comes time to vote, they buy more of the same most of the time.

The election will be decided by the economy. If by this time year we are under 7% unemployment, GDP is growing strongly, the budget deficit has begun to get under control, etc.. Then BO will be re-elected. If the economy is still a problem, he'll be toast.

I seem to recall you using that poll in 2008 and believing it. Fox quotes it all the time.
I think most of those that respond to rasmussen are closet racists that still can't accept the fact that a black individual was elected POTUS.

As long a the GOP sides with birthers they have no chance.

On another note it was brought out on TV this week that Branch Ricky bringing Jackie Robinson into the major
leagues in 1947 was such a major undertaking for baseball that this event finally led to a black being elected president in the white house. I mention this because the birthers are still ragging on and on. They were racists in 1947 and call themselves birthers and tea party members today.

The GOP is in deep do do and after the next election the tea party will be history.

So you're saying the tea is party is racist? As is anyone who thinks BO's heritage is a little sketchy?
A bit of a stretch isn't that? That's like saying the all democrats are homosexual.. Catholics are pedophiles. Muslims are terrorists..

Just because a few racist people also happen to support the tea party, doesn't mean the tea party is racist.

For someone who is supposed to be older and wiser, you seem to be on the opposite track.

Give me your paypal address and I'll send you $10 so you can buy a clue.

what percentage of people need to fit the description of "racist" in order for the tea party to be considered racist?

A stereotype is a stereotype no matter what percent of the members truthfully fall under the stereotype.
Unless the party's official stance is that they hate black people.. then the party is not racist.

If were to say that the "majority of party members are racist" then that would be different.. under that assumption, you'd have to have 50.1% or more be racist. Are you insinuating that more than 50% of the people who support the tea party are racist?

fyi.. I don't consider myself tea party. In case anyone thinks I'm blindly defending my own favorite group... i'm not.

I agree with you that if the job market improves BO will be reelected. I don't necessarily buy that he will be toast otherwise only because the Republicans in Congress are making a very convincing argument as to why a Republican should not be returned to the White House. A non-Republican conservative, yes. A Republican anything, no.

You're so pathetic.

Yeah, random polls are skewed. All the non-racists hang up their phones when the pollsters call. :rotfl

The Tea Party has a higher approval rating than the President, and more people identify with the TP than with BO.

By the way, you're the only dimwit in this forum who's been racially offensive. You're just too weak to come out of the closet, Whitey.

where? do show evidence of their numbers. last i checked, the president has been called every derogatory racist moniker under the sun, including the one they really want to use "n*****."

if protesting against bush for lying to the american people in order to push us into two wars that we CAN'T win is equal while single handedly destroying the budget that the previous administration left in surplus, then im wonder if you see the difference between someone who rapes and someone who steals.
