If so, I'll start with my current parts/build
1991 240sx with a ca18det 1989
Bought the car for about 900 bucks a few months ago, been replacing random parts on the chassis since. Stitch welded etc etc.
now, the motor had already been running when I had got it, but it would pull timing like a boss and cut out every time I'd hit boost when I'd take it for test runs up the street. I've since take apart the engine and discovered 2 broken injector caps. So I was thinking the extremely whack spray pattern had a lot to do with it. Now, I've tried OEM ca injectors, ka injectors STI 555 injectors, and my current injectors (that ill be sticking with) EVO 9 MR 560's
Now here's the thing, I've since retired everything, tested spark.. CAS is fine tested all obvious things etc etc, ill crank it over, but it quits, and I / friends hear a vacuum spurt. After locating it its multiple locations because every time it quits cranking you can hear "vacuum" coming OUT of the manifold!!! Lol it's crazy right? I checked the physical timing today and its set fine
Note_it was running before I took it apart, now nothing
