lol no they arent bolted on they are glued on. but u can easily remove them with some fishing line and a heat gun. and im pretty sure if you look online you can find all the badges but its gonna be a pain putting them all back on they exact way they were. good luck with thatmajor27012 wrote:how do you even take them off?are they bolted on or no..
yeah i was considering doing it, just cuz i like the anonymous lookand makes the back look smoother i guess you could say?just my opinionmikegtr06 wrote:i think that it looks a million times better...... i only left the nissan badge on.
looks gooddbut howd you go about doing it tho?mikegtr06 wrote:debadged on the grey coupe (mine) and badged on the black coupe...
badged FTW! Never understood why folks degadge... I rarely see expensive cars debadged... maybe its the age of the drivers.. if you look at BMW's and Benz's, the majority of of debdged ones are the 325/328's and 525/528's..... same thing for those God awful "kompressor" Benz's ..... I just don't see classy cars or real sports cars debadged.... you ever see a Porsche 911 debadged? Of course not, who wants to be mistaken for driving a Porsche Boxter?xfactor0707 wrote:Yea it definately looks way better debadged
for one thing we dont have classy cars or [a] real sports car" i see where your coming from and yeah i guess thats understandable though ,but the reason i did it is to be unique to some extent. Its the little things you do to your car that make it your own and standout, no to mention i like the clean look personally, and it gives that anonymous look to it to, and with not many coupes on the road im amused with people try to figure out what my car isfor example( i just debaged my car 2 days ago) but anyways i went out to eat at ihop the other morning, and if you've ever eaten there there's window everywhere, so i could see my car perfectly from where i was sitting, but besides that, i saw a couple of ppl checking out my car, runnung around it like , trying to figure out what exactly it wasrjdmmfl1 wrote:

IDK, just never been into the whole debadging thing.... I'm happy I drive a Nissan and I'm happy I drive a 3.5, the shaved look just looks bland to me... just my .02... to the OP, I say RE-BADGE!!!
I wasn't implying that our car was particularly classy or a sports car (quite the opposite in fact) but merely that debadging is something that people tend to do to less classy cars... hence the reason that you see many Nissan owners doing it (as well as folks that own "watered down" versions of classy/luxury cars, i.e. 3 series BMW's and C class Mercedez owners)major27012 wrote:

I'll just say it because it's what everyone is thinking and knows.rjdmmfl1 wrote: some do it for a "cleaner look" but other do it for a "different" reason...just my personal view, I just like em badged... hence my support of you rebadging your whip!
Meh, I left my 2.5S badge on. 4banger represent!marlin29311 wrote:

The vast majority of 2.5's debage because they have a 2.5. Plain and simple.
DANG! You beat me to it.marlin29311 wrote:

point well madebut then again who is really embarrassed to drive a A/C regardlessjust sayingJAFO wrote:

To expand on Doc's post, most people debadge for the looks (they don't like anything back there) but there are people out there who debadge to make it seem like their car is "better" than it is. People will debadge a 2.5 so others will not know whether it's a 4 or a 6 (seasoned A/C owners know that all you have to do is look at the sideview mirrors for the difference). People will debadge everything on a cheap MB except for the MB emblem because they want others to know they drive a Benz without seeing that it's the cheapy version.
Debadging because you don't like any badges at all on the rear of your vehicle is fine, but doing so because you're "embarrassed" of what you drive is kinda retarded. It's like the women who buy knock-off purses to make it seem like they have an expensive one.
I don't think it's people who are embarrassed to drive the A/C, rather they are embarrassed to drive a NISSAN.major27012 wrote:

Yeah, there's no convincing some folks of how much of a better value a fully loaded A/C was.... at the time, I was also looking at possibly getting a BMW when shopping for this car... but for what I got my A/C for, I would have only been able to get the 328i BMW (a comparable 335i would have been 13K more)....... don't get me wrong, I like the way they look.... but it had 0 luxury features, was noticably slower, hell it didn't even have HID's... some folks were like "why didn't you go with the 328i, you could have had a BMW" .. I just shook my head at them... those are the same folks that would rather pay 40K for a c class mercedez...JAFO wrote:

When I bought my car, I got pretty much the same first question from everyone: "Why didn't you buy a G?". Then I told them I got a brand new, fully loaded A/C for $4000 less than a completely bare, stock, brand new G. I would've had to buy a 3 yr. old used G to match the options of my A/C. Some people still think I should've gotten the 3 year old G just because I could've had an Infinity....
