can you r51 guys adjust gas mixtures? I assuming you mean air to fuel ratio and not specifically gas mixtures...

have you check for any codes?

I am also assuming that the ECU would automatically recalibrate to the new MAF. did you reset the ecu after the install/replacement?

u have to drive it for a week or two and then the ses resets itself because the ecm has to relearn everything. At first my mpg was down but now its back to normal. and u got to factor in the cold also...your gas mileage is horrible in the winter.

okthanks for replyyes...i understand that during the winter time...the mileage is bad...but shouldnt be THAT BAD....i got 80km less than before(per tank)i have this car for like 8 yrs already(my previous car also qx4)just the first time to change maf sensor

and yes...the shop already reset all the code and stuff...now start running the 3nd tank since i change the sensorand yah...now is a little bit better than 1/2nd tank...

hope it will back to normal soon...gas price isnt cheap here....90cents per liter...-_-

thanks again everyone

yes , it learns again. I experienced this 3 times. After replacing battery and leaving it without battery for few hours, it started to consume more. After almost two tanks, it retuned back to stock state.
