So basicly I started drifting with Rob and Andrew in July of '07. I had gotten a '90 Nissan 240sx as a Highschool graduation gift from my Dad. Well I loved that car and it was my 1st drifting car. Well, after having the car for the last 9 months was forced to sell it to pay back the bank money. I was given fake checks over Craigslist and the checks balanced and the bank wanted their money. I sold the car and payed back the bank and I had been working so I was looking for a new hatch. And after searching for several weeks I found my new '89 pignose hatch in Fresno. . .

$950

It does have some problems like you would expect for a $950 car. It currently has a check engine light and runs rich, has a leak in the powersterring rack, it has a crcked windshield, cracked dash, and torn driver seat. Other than that I bought the car for $950 and spent another $30 on gas to drive it all the way back to Sac with no problems.

Hardtop of course. . .

Torn seat. . .

Paint scraped. . .

Oxidation. . .

Just a minor tear down for my sweet tooth. . .

Who doesn't like a set of. . .

I still have alot of plans for this but with all said and done, R.I.P my 1st slide n' machine

And all the good times we had. . .John

I got a pretty good deal on mine down here in nc. runs good as hell 900 dollars. 91 240sx hatch with a newer KA with 170k and no rust but the paint was a HORRIBLE purple and only one fender still has the clear coat left on it

good news man. I didn't even know you lost your car. Sad story, but at least it wasn't stolen. That sucks about the craigslist checks.

Best of luck with the new project, it looks like a great car for 950.

LoL thanks for the support about the car. As of lately in life everything seemed like it just kept mounting against me, but after I sold my car and bought this new hatch. Things have been turning around for me alot and have changed for the better, I'm glad that they have been working out so well for me.

LoL I swapped Momo steering wheels and I do need to fix the alignment, but it's liveable.

The SR is still needing a few aftermarket upgrades before it's ready for the streets of Sac. . . and no it's been sitting in his car for 4 going on 5 days now not wired yet.

UPDATE:Ok, so I paid $950 so obviously there would prolly be a few small problems. Well the driver window wouldn't slide up or down electricly. So after using Nico and afew members helping me out I figured out it was the window regulator has broken. . .Riped wire. . .Putting together. . .

So the day that I fix my window regulator. Well, I'm pretty stoked that I had fixed one of the problems on the car. So I take it to work right after my last response to this thread. Well, I'm at work and I work at a gas station. After being there for about 2 1/2 hours, as I'm helping customers I notice glass on the ground. I look up and saw the some how my driver window had shattered!! I was so pissed. ! customer told me a honda was driving by it when it shattered, I looked around but didn't see anything that looked like it had been thrown at my car. What are the odds that I fix my window only to have it broken a few hours later Sometimes I really hate life. . .

yeah. . .

yeah, like i really didn't get mad. I was just like why the hell would this happen to me. Does God hate me cause I enjoy going sidewayz and not driving a FWD car!?!?

The fake checks were given in person, I was face to face with the guy and he was begging me to take a check and i felt bad and maybe he had good intentions, so I figured i would. But basicly if I catch him on the streeet it's a wrap. . .
