So i just got my new nissan pathfinder SE this weekend (1996) for my first car and i love it already, 100,000 miles, black/grey leather, heated seats, of road package, manual and its pretty sweet, the only thing it doesnt have is the cassette player, it came with the upgraded Cd player and as im sure plently of you people with MP3 players will know is that you need a cassette player to play though that little adapter thing, but i've found a solution and it comes by way of this http://www.diguniverse.com/PER....html

And i was hoping i could put this in, all i want to know before i go and start ripping apart my dash is wll it acuatly work?

Thanks

$100 wont buy you a great deck, save upto $200 and youll get a quality deck with good options

well its not like im upgrading the entire system,i need a good deck with an aux port and that can support the existing speaking, im not one of those people who likes to cause road rage by playing ridiculiously loud music, and have the bass braking my windows, just a good deck so that i can plug in my Zune

Don't know if you've made your mind up yet, but check out http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi....aspx. Put in your make/model and they'll show you what will fit. They have units for all price ranges. They also include free installation gear and step by step instruction sheets. If all you're doing is replacing the head unit, you don't need to pay someone to do it for you. You can easily do it yourself and save money.

record your own cds, get satelite radio, install new kenwood (with mp3 or bluetooth) but let the tape player die. It sucks though because tapes didn't skip or require loading and the battery never died. Still thats how it is.

You'll get an instruction sheet with your order that details how to remove your dash and stereo.Crutchfield is pretty awesome.
