ive bought rc 50 lb injectors and have a top feed fuel rail(boostdesigns). my question is how do the bottoms of the injectors go into the original injector spots. it really doesnt seem like a tight fit bc the thick round washer doesnt hit the bottom of the rc injectors like it does the stock ones. now the rc injectors have small o rings on them but they dont fit in anywhere like stock do. do i need a adapter plate or something? also, im going to be running a fpr but for now i have stock. how can i hook this up to the top feed fuel rail.

hope you understand the problem..Zak

Chances are the stock FPR won't work for the rail unless its a direct bolt on, which is doubtful. I just installed top feeds into my motor and ran into the same problem. The injectos tip didn't fit tight into the intake manifold, because of the plastic tip and orings, so I removed the plastic tip and orings and now it fits fine.

hmm, ive taken off the oring and plastic sleeve. when i put the injector in it seems like it is hitting bare metal(intake manifold). the piece on the end of the injector that flares out.

ill take a pic and post it later, gotta go to class..

Do you have the rubber grometts/spacers still installed? You need those for a tight seal.

$15-20 for 8 brand new clips doesnt sound too bad. Its your fuel system youre talking about.

Most places charge $5 each. But that might include some wire leads
