Instead of using a mount kit or the R32 x-member... I built my own extensions that moved the mounting location of the KA member forward so that it would accept an RB (like the mounting kits).
The cool thing is that with just these and stock vertical braces (parts that bolt to the motor)... the motor sits lower and further back than the R32 x-member. However, it is looking like I might have to cut some of the hood bracing... but this is not certain yet (but likely). The adaptors I made that move the mounting location are 1/4" steel, so that added a little vertical movement but not to much.
How much below the x-member are people's oil pans that have used a mounting kit? Mine is almost if not entirely flush with the x-member (should give an idea on height). I will try and fit the swaybar soon to let everyone know how/if that fits with this setup.
