the only chevy LS1 i've ever heard of is in the front of a corvette.

RB30ETs only came in australian cars that i'm aware of.

are you high? The RB30s were built for Holden by Nissan and came in their commodores in Australia. The swap is the same as for any RB, the tall deck will likely be a problem, get a hammer.

what do you want to know, i have built one and am now building one with a rb25 head (straight bolt on)

they only came out in oz as the old holden 202 efi version was a heap of crap compared to the nissan quality of the time. its a pity they didnt keep them as this engine is one of the most developed mainstream and affordable engines you can get. often described as best bang for your buck around.

Good question? It would be great if we can count on someone to ship us a couple of parts, enough to make something for themselves but not break our pockets.

there is a local guy who has brand new block for only approximately $AU500.

I could arrange for shipment of complete engines, but i can imagine it wouldnt be cheap. best be done in large numbers, say 5-10 at a time.

I know of a recently rebuilt one that has had approx 6000 miles and made just under 400rwhp which is going for $AU3500 with gt35/40, externnal wastegate and custom exhaust manifold an abslute bargain for what it is.

I have a Dayco part no of 94407 for the belt if you are doing a rb25/30.
