SHOULD I?:GO WITH MY VVT HEAD?STICK WITH STOCKER REPLACEMENT INTERNALS AND STAY AT 400+ HP FOR AWHILE?UPGRADE ALL THE INTERNALS TO FORGED/BILLET AND GET NISMO BEARINGS/ARP STUDS/ETC. (ADDED COST OF ROUGHLY 3K)? GO WITH THE GREDDY INTAKE MANIFOLD OR THE UNIQUEAUTOSPORTS INTAKE MANIFOLD AND TOPFEED FUEL RAIL(SAME PRICE)?GO WITH RB25DET AUTO transmission AND BEEF IT UP OR CONVERT TO TURBO350/400 OR POWERGLIDE?GO HALTECH OR POWER FC?GO WITH A CUSTOM TD04 TURBINE/MANIFOLD/TIAL 38MM WASTEGATE?MCKINNEY MOUNTS OR R32 STOCK?

JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT THE STOCK SETUP WILL ACHIEVE MY BASE POWER GOALS FOR A WHILE. I'LL HAVE CORVETTE POWER AT 3000RPM.

OK NOW HERE IS THE OTHER THING....SHOULD I SELL MY 240SXS AND GET A 240Z FOR THIS PROJECT? I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A 240Z AND I THINK THEY ARE SWEET, THIS KIND OF POWER IN A CAR LIGHTER THAN A 240SX WOULD OWN.

I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO GO THAT ROUTE.... IT WOULD BE SWEET THOUGH.

I say go with the 240z.... obviously if you want to drop in an rb30, your looking for lots of power and not much for handling, so I say go with the lightest chassis....

I WANT HANDLING ALSO, THATS WHY THE 240Z IS APPEALING.

The 30 should not be too much heavier than the 25/26. :confused:

do the vvt if prossible, if not go with the RB25DE head, go with power fc no extra wiring, go with the nismo and arp etc stuff, get the unique motorsport mani and fuel rail but it is not really needed, and get the mckinney mounts, the rest i have no opinions on, PS good luck i would like to do some day do the RB30DETT conversion someday, when i get my s13

That project sounds ****en awesome... I'm thinkin about it , too but I'm going to see how i like the SR first. I have a little .pdm file put together by the Australian Skylien guys outlining the build up but you probably already have it... can you import these rb30 blocks?? if so lemme know man.. I never emailed you because basically everything there is to be said was said. Glad to see your still in on the 240 thing dispite what was going on in your life. I lost my steam too for an instant but its commin back.. I'm anxious to get my car running soon.. .hopefully tommorrow if the ignitor chip isnt' broken like i think it is. As far as the car goes... ya put it in a 240z.

YES, I CAN GET IN THE RB30E SHORT BLOCKS FOR RELATIVELY CHEAP. EMAIL ME AND I'LL TELL YOU MORE ABOUT IT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. YEAH I UNDERSTAND ABOUT NOT EMAILING ME, I WAS KIDDING. WELL, MY LIFE IS TURNING AROUND.... ITS FRIGGEN AWESOME!

AS FOR THE 240Z, I'M ALS0 LOOKING AT A 260Z EITHER WOULD BE AWESOME, EXCEPT SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT. AND I HAVE TO WATCH MY MONEY BECAUSE I'M ACTUALLY LOOKING AT BUYING A HOUSE OR A CONDO, SOON.
