I am planning to do an Rb30det build for s13. I already have rb25 series 1. Any recommendations? Wiring harness and ecu info, rb25 or rb26 head what are the gains in both whp and torque? How much work is needed to fit the head to the rb30 block? One last thing: any suggestions about mount the motor in the s13?

I've already googled before I got here. this is my last resort to find some answers that I am seeking. I'm looking for anyone in here with that kind of experience. Rb30 in USA isn't common. A few only but I want to know what they did and how they did it. I don't want to make mistakes along the way on building one.

Wiring harness and ecu info any tuneable ecu and rb25 wiring harness can work just fine on an RB30. Nothing drastically different for wiring if your going to use an RB25 head from what you already have.. i mean what plugs into the block?? Not much oil pressure knock sensors etc etc.. nothing you cant make work.

rb25 or rb26 head what are the gains in both whp and torque? This question is vague.. stock for stock the heads flow pretty much the same.. Rb26 has bigger factory cams and a better valvetrain for higher revs.. Rb26 has more potential for power.. If you really did search you would know this..

How much work is needed to fit the head to the rb30 block? depends on what head your using... SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! check out skylines Australia

One last thing: any suggestions about mount the motor in the s13? the Rb30 has another inch of deck height so you need a spare inch under the hood.. Your current RB mounting brackets will work.

Im not trying to be an a** but you really need to search more, people aren't just gonna spoon feed you information on the internet.. Nor would i listen to half of what people say.. If your planning on doing this yourself you have alot to learn.. Read up and try and understand exactly what needs to be done... If you don't get it right you end up costing yourself more in the long run.

well as long as you go thru the guide for the RB30 then you should be fine. what type of power are you going for?
