Anyone know the weight of the rb26dett engine?

Yamaoni knows the weight of an RB20, he has that kind of freetime. I would guess add about 100lbs for the twin turbos and front diff/oil pan

Yes this is my big project. I got a rb26dett engine with a set of skyline brakes, 2 ECU's, 1 modified by HKS, some autometer gauges, and a greddy downpipe for $3100. I'm trying to find out the weight of the engine so I can get it shipped tonight to go into my 1990 240sx. All I really need with this swap is a rb25 transmission. I'm putting bout 10 grand into it and hopefully it should be around 600-700hp.

gimme a ride??, and damn, that is going to be one hell of a project, but why 2 ecu's and such, whats up with that?, and also, where are u gettting it from and how much (if u dont mind me asking that is)

Well the guy selling it built that yellow 240sx that was on ebay awhile back. My friend happened to see that he was selling all dat stuff above including the engine for 3100. He is giving me 2 ecu's cuz I guess he doesn't need either of them. He is starting his own shop so datz why he is selling all this stuff. I just wished i knew the weight of the rb26 so i can get it shipped asap.
