Hi Everyone,

Before I ask this question, just a little background. I am working on an R32 GTS-4, originally with an RB20DET, converted to an RB26DETT swap. I have been undergoing a motor rebuild, and I have found a minor difference in the wiring harness that connects the "Battery-Starter Motor-Transmission" harness.

I was wondering if the community could tell me what this connector goes to?
I'm not sure how critical this detail is, but the wire is a "sky blue" color with a "red" stripe.

Please see attached picture:

Thank you for any guidance everyone!

What does this 1-pin connector lead to?

***SOLVED***
Hi Everyone, Due to the in depth wiring harness knowlege from Wiring Specialties, I have an answer to this riddle and wanted to document it for the community. This connector connects to a 1 pin connector on the main engine harness and ultimately leads to the Oil Temperature Sensor. The reason this wire lead does not ultimately terminate at the under the hood fuse box in a GTS, is due to the 3 gauge center cluster on a GTR, which is not present in the GTS. So if you do an RB26DETT swap in your GTS, be prepared to have this wire not actually connect to anything at the fuse box. Which will cause you to have to depin the 4 pin connetor at the fuse box, and repin in a 2 pin speed sensor connector. I'd like to extend my deepest thanks to the tech guys at Wiring Specialties for solving this RB26DETT swap issue for a GTS model. (Updating my previous graphic as well)

One more piece of info... The two wires you are repinning go to this harness connector.
