thanks man, whew!, well, it sounds like i have several options at this, now that i know that this can be upgraded, i am completely satisfied. Now that i know i wont be like my buddy (who bought an s2000 thinking it would be real fast and if he needed to be faster, he would have alot of options to do it, when after he got it, he found out that the blower was overpriced for what you got and a turbo kit would mean tearing his whole engine appart and rebuild it, so he sold it and got a 04 cobra, good choice), i can start looking for a place to buy my rb26dett with the 5spd rwd transmission, any suggestions?

Ya know, you're not going to have problems with the gearbox unless you're dropping clutch shifting like a lion on slicks with 700hp.

To hell with cryo treating metals, that's consuming. Look at OS Giken's cross gears. That's a nice option for about 3-4k.. and if you use the proper gear oil and warm up your gearbox you'll have a hard time breaking **** unless you're banging gears with the clutch half-disengaged.

synchros pff.

I've seen a RB25 gearbox swallow 647whp for 3 years without 1 single problem. Heavy wt gear oil and freindly diy maintence.

Don't shift like an idiot...real simple solution.

And the bickering stops here or the whole thread goes away. Thanks.
