Are you looking for someone to do the swap for you, or are you just looking for a motor?

I would check here for an engine http://www.superiortradinginternational.com/ they are out of abilene, that is where I picked up my SR from.

I dont beleive they do swaps, so I dont know where to tell you to go for that.

I got my front clip from Tiger Japanese Imports (tigerjapanese.com) for about 4500 including shipping, it was in awesome condition and well worth it. Here are the build/delivery pics and stuff, http://s170.photobucket.com/al...%20Up/

As for putting it in, I have done motor swaps in the past and one of my roomates is a certified Nissan/Infiniti mechanic so we are doing the install at my house which saves a ton of money, plus I get Nismo parts at substantial discount so my cost of the buildup/swap is a bit scewed. I would bet that if you bought the clip for aroung 5g I would expect paying a shop atleast (I have seen double that amount quoted by shops) that much for all the custom work, and this is assuming you are putting whatever you got from the importer directly into the car and are not tearing the block down and build it up in the proccess, which would then add thousands more in parts. The money, sweat, shredded knuckles are certainly worth it in the end if you are in love with your car/RB26DETT and are clincally insane like me but if you don't I would really reconsider the swap and go for a more conservative swap like a SR

The one I got could have been, the cylinder walls still had facotry cross hatching and there was no cylinder lip, it had been city driving only so it had some carbon buildup from not running long enough, nothing like getting a motor that is the milage they say and was granny driven I still would tear it down just to clean it, if nothing else to be sure before doing the work and having something unforseen happen. Tiger does have a 30 day install garantee.

hey i'm trying to sell my s13 with rb26. I has a spun bearing but ran awesome till that. Still runs I just would'nt drive it. Wiring is done and I have all the mounts and drive shaft. Rb25trans, power fc, apexi warning guages....etc tons of mods. My g/f lives in abaline so I could make a trip up there. I'm selling this car cheap. I want an s14 with sr so I can let it go cheap. The car is clean. If you went out and bought a brand new motor and i mean complete but just a motor it would cost you $2700 from this place in dallas I believe. Heres my number 903 539 3734 hit me up. My names ben by the way.
