Im going to put a rb26dett into my 93' s13. I was wondering how bad the weight difference is and if i got carbon fiber fenders and hood would it help much?

Did you search before you posted?? Start looking around, all of the questions have been answered. Look into all the forums relating to the things you have.

And if you put a rb26 in a s13 chassis it won't cause your weight ratio off that much. You'll still pull hard....

i have my car dropped 2" front and rear and the front would be better off with some weight anyways. i have an sr and with it being way lighter than the ka it sits higher than it used to. with the rb being aluminum block and head i wouldn't be surprised if they are close to the same weight. search around and youll find the exact weight of the different motors. also make sure you have a tranni that will work, the rb26dett trans is awd.

You can use the rb25 trans if you dont plan on going awd..
