hello all
nuked my rb20det

thinking about saving up down the line and I want to get all my ducks in a row.
Question is - with the mckinney swap kit, or any swap kit for that matter, using a s13 X member will the stock twins have clearance or is it better to swap to a single turbo?

thanks 1

from a guy that has done a rb26 swap. unless you make bank you better just do a sr swap. RBs are money pits. SR is easier, cheaper, less down time, but not at baller. I do love my RB though

Depending on your budget, most people just go the route of keeping the stock twin turbos.

We offer the downpipe to do so and it's relativity a straight forward install with swap parts:

Srs arn't my things
already played around with the rb20, really enjoyed it.

so it seems beyond getting the rb25 transmission, not that big of a hassle, least not anymore than any other rb swap.

cept all the rb26s out on the market are out of r32s :squint:

know anything abouta the 2jz series ?

2jzs are sweet...wired enough of them into s chassis to know.

for super baller on a budget you can always slap the 26 infront of the 20 trans to get it in car and running.
the 20 trans will cope for a while, mine has been a champ behind the 30.
