I was wondering if dropping an RB26Dett, into a 98 240 is worth it? I was wondering if anyone could tell me the 1/4mile time and how much horsepower it can pump out max. I've read how to do it and how much time and hard work it takes, but I'm considering it. and in the end, would the 240 be able to beat a Impreza WRX-STi? Thanks for the info and crit.

Any car highly modified can beat any car that has not been highly modified. The RB26 by the book puts out 280hp but it is said to be underrated and actually puts out closer to 320hp. The main thing you are going to be dealing with when it comes to the swap is the transmission... Skyline GTR w/RB26 = AWD, S14 240 = RWD. RB26 weighs 180lbs more than the KA motor so there might be issues with that. As far as what cars it will beat, that depends on two things; the driver, and power to weight ratio.
